Ujamaa Mentorship Program
Institutional Building
Institutional building focuses on strengthening the organizational structures and systems of member organizations to enhance their effectiveness and sustainability. This involves providing training and technical assistance in areas such as governance, leadership development, strategic planning, financial management, and human resource management. The program also supports the development of robust monitoring, evaluation, and reporting mechanisms to track progress, measure impact, and ensure accountability. By building institutional capacity, member organizations are better equipped to deliver high-quality programs and services that meet the needs of their communities and achieve sustainable development goals.
Entrepreneurship Training
Entrepreneurship training equips Ujamaa partners with the knowledge, skills, and mindset necessary to start and grow successful businesses or social enterprises. Training sessions cover various aspects of entrepreneurship, including business planning, market research, financial management, marketing and sales, and risk management. Participants are guided through the process of developing a business idea, creating a business plan, and implementing strategies to launch and manage their ventures effectively. Entrepreneurship training empowers these organisations to pursue economic opportunities, create jobs, generate income, and contribute to local economic development.
